Position Overview
The selected consultant will work in Dubai, managing acute and chronic skin conditions, performing advanced dermatologic procedures, supporting cosmetic dermatology services, and contributing to clinical governance, training, and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex dermatological conditions across pediatric, adult, and elderly patient groups.
- Provide specialist treatment for skin diseases, inflammatory disorders, infections, allergies, pigmentation issues, hair and nail conditions, and related dermatology cases.
- Perform advanced dermatologic procedures, including laser therapy, cryotherapy, skin lesion treatment, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures.
- Deliver cosmetic dermatology services in line with patient needs, institutional scope, ethical practice, and clinical safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal medicine, pediatrics, plastic surgery, oncology, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, consent forms, and follow-up plans.
- Uphold quality standards, infection control measures, patient safety protocols, and clinical governance requirements.
- Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support training and mentoring of junior doctors, residents, and clinical team members.
- Contribute to dermatology service development, patient education, and evidence‑based clinical practice.
Ideal Profile
- Medical degree with recognized specialization in Dermatology.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Dermatology.
- Minimum 5 years of post‑specialization experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required for effective patient care and clinical communication.
- Strong expertise in medical dermatology, procedural dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology services.
- Experience within GCC healthcare systems will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a culturally sensitive and patient‑centered approach.
- Ability to work confidently within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong commitment to clinical accuracy, patient safety, ethical care, and continuous professional learning.
