Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Female Consultant Dermatologist in Dubai to provide expert care across medical, procedural and aesthetic dermatology. The role includes skin cancer assessment, dermatological procedures and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a hospital/clinic setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an MBBS/MD with a recognized Dermatology qualification, UAE license, and significant consultant-level experience.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology or Dermatovenereology.
• Recognized Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Valid UAE professional license or eligibility for appropriate licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management for a broad range of dermatological conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acne and acne scarring, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, pigmentation disorders, hair and scalp conditions, nail disorders, skin infections, and autoimmune/inflammatory skin diseases.
• Assess skin cancers and suspicious lesions and coordinate biopsy, pathology, surgical management, or oncology referral.
• Perform skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, minor dermatological surgery, intralesional treatments, chemical peels and other procedures within scope.
• Provide aesthetic dermatology services where trained, including injectables, laser treatments and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
• Evaluate and manage hair loss and other scalp disorders.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Collaborate with other specialties to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in audits, quality improvement, research and continuing medical education.
• Support training and mentoring of junior doctors and clinical staff.

Experience

• Experience within a hospital, multispecialty medical centre, or specialist dermatology clinic is preferred.
