Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant - Clinical Psychology Oncology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves conducting psychological assessments and providing individual and family therapy for oncology patients across diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

You will collaborate with oncologists and a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidential records, and participate in case discussions to ensure patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a relevant discipline.
• Valid professional license or eligibility to practice in Dubai under DHA requirements.
• Proven clinical experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Previous oncology or psycho-oncology experience is required or highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment and therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Provide individual and family psychological counselling and psychotherapy.
• Support oncology patients throughout cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and survivorship.
• Assess and manage anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, and treatment-related psychological distress.
• Provide psychological support to patients and families coping with chronic or life-threatening illness.
• Develop individualized psychological treatment and care plans based on clinical needs.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Provide crisis intervention and arrange appropriate referrals when required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to coordinated, patient-centered care.
