Job summary

Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Dubai to assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders affecting children and adolescents.

You will work with psychologists, pediatricians, therapists, educators and families to deliver patient-centered mental healthcare, develop treatment plans, and provide pharmacological and psychological recommendations within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 qualification required (UK CCT/GMC Specialist Register or American Board).
• Arabic speaker mandatory.
• Consultant-level experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Strong patient- and family-centered clinical approach.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
• Provide pharmacological and psychological treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support and educate patients and families throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Follow international psychiatric guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and CME.
