Job summary

SearchPlus HR is assisting a leading UAE healthcare group in Abu Dhabi/Al Ain region to recruit an experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon for its specialist surgical team. You will lead diagnosis, surgical management, and follow-up for benign and malignant breast conditions.

The role requires consultant-level breast surgery experience, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised medical institution.
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in General Surgery or Breast Surgery or equivalent.
• Consultant-level experience in Breast Surgery.
• Experience in the management of both benign and malignant breast conditions.
• Eligibility for DOH licensing/registration (Abu Dhabi).
• Western qualifications or internationally recognised board certification preferred.
• Strong clinical, surgical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of breast conditions.
• Evaluate and manage benign and malignant breast diseases.
• Perform breast surgical procedures within scope of specialist training.
• Assess patients with breast lumps and related conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary management of breast cancer.
• Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists, oncologists and other specialists.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on findings.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and long-term follow-up.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, options, outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, governance, and teaching.
