Job summary

INTEGRA PRIME BUILDING CONTRACTING is seeking a skilled site coordination engineer to manage technical construction activities and ensure accurate, approved drawings and information align with project specs and schedules.

You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, prepare shop drawings and RFIs, and provide on-site technical guidance. Dubai-based, experience with high-rise and concrete construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant technical office and site coordination experience with a main contractor.
• Experience in high-rise residential buildings, villas, and concrete construction.
• Working knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and drawing review software; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings to identify discrepancies, clashes and missing information.
• Coordinate technical issues with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Ensure coordinated drawings are available before the relevant work starts.
• Prepare or coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals and method statements.
• Check subcontractor submissions for compliance with project drawings and specifications before submission to the consultant.
• Track approvals, address review comments and arrange timely resubmissions.
• Prepare and submit RFIs to resolve drawing discrepancies and clarify design requirements.
• Follow up outstanding responses against site priorities.
• Communicate approved responses and instructions to the relevant teams.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers and supervisors.
• Verify dimensions, levels, setting out information and construction details with the site and survey teams.
• Resolve construction issues and propose practical solutions for consultant approval.
• Prepare technical specifications, material schedules and quantity take-offs for procurement.
• Review supplier offers and technical data for compliance with approved requirements.
• Coordinate material approvals and delivery requirements with procurement and planning teams.
