Job summary

SHANDONG TAIJIAN INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTI is seeking a site engineer to lead day-to-day construction management and on-site supervision at a Dubai project. You will read and check drawings, ensure conformity with specifications, monitor progress, safety, and quality, and coordinate with subcontractors and teams.

The role requires a civil/building engineering degree and at least 2 years on-site experience, with basic English. UAE or international project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or a related major, bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2+ years of construction site experience.
• Ability to independently read, understand and check construction drawings.
• Familiar with building construction processes and on-site management.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Priority for UAE/overseas project experience.
• Priority for those with engineering qualifications or certificates.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day construction management and on-site supervision.
• Read, understand and check construction drawings independently.
• Supervise on-site construction per drawings and specifications.
• Follow up on project progress, quality and site safety.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and resolve ground-truth conflicts.
• Coordinate construction personnel, subcontractors and project teams.
• Organize construction records, site reports and related information.
• Assist the project manager with field technical issues.
