Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Architectural Engineer in Dubai to lead and coordinate architectural design and engineering during construction. You will act as the main liaison among the Site Supervision Team, Contractor, Design Team, suppliers and specialist subcontractors, ensuring timely submissions and approvals and managing interfaces across disciplines.

10–15 years of relevant experience in building projects.
Experience in site supervision and coordination on construction sites.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all architectural design and engineering matters arising during the construction stage.
Act as the main focal point between the Site Supervision Team, Contractor, Design Team, suppliers and subcontractors.
Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals and method statements and ensure approvals are aligned with the programme.
Ensure detailed submission schedules are prepared and maintained by the Contractor.
Monitor submission programmes to meet construction deadlines and procurement milestones.
Identify delays and risks affecting the construction programme and communicate them to the Project Manager.
Coordinate architectural matters with structural, civil, MEP, landscape and other disciplines to resolve interfaces.
Lead architectural technical and progress meetings and track outstanding actions to closure.
Provide regular reports to the Site Line Manager and highlight risks to coordination, progress and handover.
