Job summary

Strong Walls Construction LLC in Dubai seeks qualified Safety Officers to uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across construction projects. You will oversee daily site safety activities, promote a safety culture, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations while collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and workers.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in OH&S or related field, with NEBOSH/IOSH preferred, and UAE construction experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
• Relevant experience in UAE construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction sessions.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation.
• Assist with risk assessments and method statement reviews.
• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Promote a strong Zero Accident and Safe Work Culture.
