Job summary

Innovo Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead installation activities on assigned MEP projects. You will coordinate HVAC teams, subcontractors and interfaces with civil and MEP disciplines to ensure safety, quality and on-schedule delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10–12 years in HVAC MEP construction, with at least 3 years in site management.

• 3+ years in a site management role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily HVAC installation activities on assigned projects.

• Ensure HVAC installations meet ASHRAE and CIBSE standards.
• Coordinate with T&C team for testing and commissioning readiness.
• Enforce HSE requirements on site and lead toolbox talks.

Role Purpose

To manage all HVAC system installations on assigned Innovo MEP projects, coordinating resources and subcontractors to ensure safe, quality, and on-programme delivery of all mechanical works.

Key Accountabilities

• Site Management
  • Manage daily HVAC installation activities; coordinate with MEP and civil teams.
  • Sequence ductwork, chilled water piping, and equipment installation to meet project milestones.
• Quality Management
  • Ensure HVAC installations comply with ASHRAE, CIBSE, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and manage inspection requests; coordinate with consultant and client teams.
• T&C Coordination
  • Oversee HVAC testing and commissioning activities in coordination with the T&C team.
  • Ensure readiness of HVAC systems for T&C in line with the project programme.
• Resource & Programme Management
  • Manage HVAC site teams, supervisors, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Monitor HVAC programme; implement recovery measures when required.
• HSE
  • Enforce HSE requirements for all HVAC activities on site.
  • Conduct regular safety walkthroughs and toolbox talks for HVAC installation teams.

  • Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10–12 years of HVAC MEP construction experience, with 3+ years in a site management role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and commissioning processes
• Proven site management and coordination skills
