Job summary

al-majid seeks a seasoned project lead to oversee joinery and interior fitout projects in Dubai, ensuring schedule, cost and quality targets are met.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers, enforce codes and QA/QC, and direct planning for procurement, production and installation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in joinery/fitout, a degree in architecture or civil/mechanical engineering, and relevant certificates; family benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Joinery/Interior Fitout works.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Mechanical/Civil Engineering plus training courses.
• Certificate in project management/contract management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of assigned projects.
• Enforce codes, industry best practices and QA/QC procedures on site.
• Engage with clients and interpret needs and requirements; manage contractual and commercial issues.
• Conduct technical and commercial workshops with project officials, contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and determine reports to monitor project progress; oversee procurement, production and installation planning.
• Monitor project team performance and productivity; ensure timely payments and variations.

Lead the preparation scheduling coordination and monitoring of assigned engineering projects with precision and efficiency Enforce strict adherence to applicable codes industry best practices and rigorous QA,QC Engage in daily client interactions adeptly interpreting their needs and requirements Operate and manage all the related contractual and commercial issues with clients, contractors and suppliers. Manage and conduct the technical and commercial workshops, attending meetings with project's official's contractors and suppliers. Determine and manage the required reports to monitor and evaluate the project progress. Direct the planning department for procurement production and installation program Operate, control and monitor project team performance and their productivity. Follow-up for monthly payment applications and payments. Timely submit variations and follow-up for approvals Follow-up site QA/QC and safety procedure as per site requirements Maintain safe and clean working environment at site by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations. Requirements
