The Construction Manager – Electrical is responsible for the overall planning, execution, management, and successful delivery of medium to large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the power and infrastructure sectors. Holding a Degree in Electrical Engineering and possessing 8 to 15 years of experience in Gulf countries and/or India, the role demands strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities in managing complex projects, including substations, power plants, and overhead transmission lines. The position involves overseeing all construction activities related to medium and large substations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, contractual requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations. The Construction Manager is accountable for managing the complete project lifecycle, from mobilization and construction through testing, commissioning, and final handover, while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and performance targets. The role also requires effective coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely resolution of technical and operational challenges. Key responsibilities include resource planning, progress monitoring, subcontractor management, risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance, and implementation of corrective actions to address delays or project issues. The candidate must demonstrate strong decision-making, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic project environment.
