General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Proposed PMC in-house Project Management procedures are approved by the Company and implemented by all PMC staff in full compliance with Contract requirements and Company procedures.
- Carry out documented induction courses for all PMC staff to ensure their awareness of the project requirements.
- Ensure all PMC staff are aware of the approved project procedures and drawings.
- Review and comment on Contractor proposed site organization key personnel CVs.
- Review and monitor the Contractor's proposed construction equipment and manpower histogram and advise the Company of any shortages in a timely manner.
- Establish documented procedures to oversee and comment on proposed Subcontractors' vendors, materials shop drawings, and other transmittals by Contractors. Any deviations from project requirements shall be appropriately reported to the Company’s Management, addressing any possible Time and/or Cost Impact.
- Ensure Contractor compliance with contractual obligations concerning Design changes, Trend Notices, etc.
- Conduct regular visits to the Project site for monitoring site activities regarding Quality, Safety, and Progress, and advise Company representatives of findings, areas of concern, and corrective actions.
- Lead the PMC team in evaluating all Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by the Contractor, communicate with the Design Consultant as needed, and prepare responses if sufficient information and supporting documents are available.
- Ensure PMC and Consultant staff involvement in and implementation of Field Quality Control procedures, Safety, and Progress aspects.
- Deeply involve in Contractor transmittals addressing Construction methodology, Method Statements, Project Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Schedules, and compliance with Project objectives.
- Lead PMC in reviewing and implementing pre-commissioning and commissioning plans.
- Lead PMC staff in final inspection of work and preparation of Punch List, coordinated with the end-user.
- Lead PMC staff in reviewing and assessing the Close-out Report submitted by the Contractor.
- Ensure that As-Built drawings, vendor and equipment warranties, O&M Manuals, Spare Parts, and Training Programmes submitted by the Contractor are reviewed by all disciplines and verified against Project Requirements.
- Prepare and submit the PMC closeout report for the Project.
- Stay informed of relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International, ensuring continued compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Qualified Engineer (BSc or higher).
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience on similar scale projects.
- Certified PMP is an advantage.
