Job summary

Penspen Ltd in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Construction Lead - Offshore to oversee offshore oil & gas construction activities, lead site execution, coordinate with engineering and EPC teams, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has 15–18+ years in oil & gas construction, minimum 5 years in a lead role, offshore experience, and knowledge of international standards. ADNOC project exposure and PMC/EPC offshore background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 15–18+ years in Oil & Gas construction with 5+ years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years offshore experience mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process & utility systems.
• Experience with PMC/EPC offshore projects and ADNOC programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore construction activities in accordance with project specs, HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore teams for efficient execution.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors to finish work safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Review construction procedures, method statements, work packs and commissioning docs.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and offshore regulations.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activities.
• Prepare construction reports and provide regular progress updates to management.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and offshore teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Review construction procedures, method statements, work packs, and mechanical completion documentation.
• Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and offshore regulations.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Prepare construction reports and provide regular progress updates to project management.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 TO 18+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years of offshore experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
• Familiarity with international standards
• PMC and EPC Offshore projects experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
