Job summary

ADNOC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Construction Engineer to support oil and gas project construction, ensuring adherence to plans, drawings, and safety standards while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will oversee site activities, monitor progress, review technical documents, and report construction status to project management. A civil/mechanical/construction degree and relevant certifications are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Construction or a related engineering discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Oil & gas/HSE/project certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities for oil & gas project works in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
• Review engineering drawings, construction documents, method statements, and technical requirements before site execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure construction progresses according to project schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure site activities comply with applicable HSE procedures and project safety requirements.
• Identify construction issues, technical conflicts, and site constraints and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, materials, and construction quality.
• Prepare construction progress updates, site reports, and documentation for project management.
