Job summary

Khansaheb Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Cost Accountant to oversee contract P&L, invoicing, reconciliations, VAT filing, MIS reporting, and audit finalization. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong accounting skills within a construction context, and the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.

You will coordinate with operations, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate financial records, effective cost control, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• B.Com with CA or CMA or MBA (F); CA(Inter) or CMA(Inter) candidates may be considered.
• 5-7 years of UAE construction contracting experience preferred.
• Excellent soft skills and AI skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; ERP environment experience; payroll, banking arrangements, and audit controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and prepare contract-wise P&L including revenue, costs, margins.
• Manage AR/AP schedules, invoicing, aging, and collections/payables aging.
• Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, VAT filing, and MIS reporting.
• Assist finalization of audit and support external auditors with documentation.
• Maintain balance sheet schedules, FAR, and depreciation tracking.
• Implement and manage accounting software for construction sector; drive process improvements.
