Job summary

Rowad Modern Engineering in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Technical Coordinator to align design intent with on-site execution. You will coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues, review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals, and support BIM coordination to ensure project alignment and timely approvals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering required.
1–3 years of experience in technical coordination on large-scale UAE construction projects (UAE experience mandatory).
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and document management systems; BIM/Revit knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between design consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical discrepancies and maintain design intent.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for compliance with specifications and authorities.
Attend coordination meetings and assist in clash detection and resolution during construction.
Track and follow up on technical approvals to avoid project delays.
Maintain updated logs for shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals using standard tools or ERP systems.
Support BIM coordination processes including model checking and integration between disciplines.
