Job summary

The National Consulting Office for Engineering in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a CAD Drafter to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and SolidWorks in coordination with engineers and architects.

You will revise and update designs, ensure compliance with codes and standards, resolve drawing discrepancies, and support project teams with timely information throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or SolidWorks
• Revise and update designs and drawings as necessary based on feedback from the project team or changes in project scope
• Work closely with engineers architects and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards industry regulations and client requirements
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or design issues before the project moves into the construction or manufacturing phase
• Support the engineering team by providing accurate and timely information throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide input on the selection and implementation of new CAD tools or techniques that could benefit the project or firm
