LACASA Architects and Engineering Consultants is seeking a BIM/CAD Architect/Draftsman for concept design in Dubai. The role focuses on creating code-compliant architectural drawings and BIM models with full Dubai codes knowledge.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in UAE architectural consultancy, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support concept through schematic design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum 5 years of UAE architectural consultancy experience
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong BIM workflows/standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare code-compliant drawings, BIM models, and authority area calculations
• Produce high-quality Revit models with BIM standards and coordination
• Collaborate with architects, urban designers, and multidisciplinary teams during concept development
• Ensure proposals comply with Dubai Building Code and UAE regulations/authority requirements
• Independently prepare authority submission drawings and respond to technical comments
• Propose well-designed apartment layouts based on senior direction
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and documentation
• Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to resolve conflicts

BIM/CAD Architect/Draftsman - Concept Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and code experienced BIM/CAD Architect/Draftsman - Concept Design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing high-quality technical architectural drawings and/or BIM models with full code knowledge for compliance with Dubai's regulatory requirements and local building standards. (i.e Preliminary Submission for DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc). The candidate should also be able to produce the technical drawings and apartment layouts based on quick sketches from his/her seniors

This position is ideal for professionals with strong, technical expertise, and hands-on experience working in an architectural consultancy environment within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare code-complying technical architectural drawings, BIM models, and authority area calculations
• Produce high-quality Revit models with accurate BIM standards and project coordination.
• Collaborate closely with architects, urban designers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams during the concept development stage.
• Ensure all concept proposals comply with the Dubai Building Code and/or Dubai based applicable UAE regulations, and relevant authority requirements.
• Fully capable of individually preparing authority submission drawings and responding to technical comments.
• Can propose and workout apartment well designed apartment layouts, based on basic direction from his/her senior
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Support project teams from concept through schematic design while maintaining design quality and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural consultancy, within the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Autodesk Revit
• AutoCAD
• BIM workflows and standards
• Added Value but not must: Enscape, Lumion, or similar visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should demonstrate working knowledge of:

• Dubai Building Code (DBC)
• Dubai Municipality regulations
• Authority submission requirements
• UAE accessibility standards
• Local planning and zoning regulations
• BIM coordination and documentation standards
