Job summary

EQT in Dubai seeks a compliance professional to execute KYC/EDD reviews for LNG & LPG counterparties and coordinate sanctions screening and ongoing monitoring.

You will gather documentation for testing, support audits, and help maintain dashboards and governance materials, collaborating with Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, legal, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort working in data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for leadership and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Execute Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for LNG & LPG counterparties.
• Run sanctions pre-screens against restricted-party lists and manage ongoing monitoring queues.
• Execute routine control tests across regulatory, ethics, and sanctions programs.
• Gather and organize documentation for testing and audits, tracking deficiencies to resolution.
• Administer intake, logging, and triage of compliance cases within management systems.
• Maintain compliance dashboards, trackers, and health metrics to support risk posture analysis.
• Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes for Compliance Councils and Board-level updates.
• Support cross-functional coordination with Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Internal Audit.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability of recurring compliance obligations.
