Job summary

AKW Consultants in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Compliance Consultant for a full-time, on-site role. You will ensure regulatory compliance, provide management support to finance and legal teams, and analyze compliance issues, communicating requirements and standards across the organization.

You will work with knowledge of UAE and international AML and responsible sourcing laws, assist in policy development, and conduct client due-diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
• Professional compliance certification is a plus.
• Experience in risk management or regulatory compliance is desirable.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Compliance Consultant located in Dubai, UAE. The Compliance Consultant will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, providing compliance management support, conducting analysis on compliance issues, communicating compliance requirements and standards, and working closely with the finance and legal departments.

The role requires :

• Understanding the UAE and international laws with respect to Anti Money Laundering and Responsible Sourcing
• Understanding how regulatory requirements impact different categories of businesses
• Assisting in the preparation of AML and Responsible Sourcing compliance policy of clients
• Assisting in the preparation of Client Due Diligence Program for clients
• Determining compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them
• Performing compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
• Maintaining up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, or Business Administration)
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional or Compliance Certification Board) is a plus
• Experience working in risk management or regulatory compliance is highly desirable
