Job summary

TMF Group in the UAE is seeking a Compliance Officer / MLRO to deliver high-quality regulatory, AML and governance advisory across a portfolio of financial services clients in the UAE and Qatar.

The role focuses on implementing robust compliance frameworks aligned with DFSA, FSRA and QFCRA requirements, training clients, and maintaining strong relationships with regulators and authorities in the region.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory concepts and AML/CFT requirements.
• Experience in compliance, MLRO, AML or risk management within regulated environments.
• Ability to work with clients and senior stakeholders with professional judgement and regulatory independence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with regulators and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance, AML, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Draft and maintain compliance manuals, AML manuals, policies, procedures, client reports and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare and deliver compliance, governance, risk and AML training for clients and onboarding.
• Proactively monitor regulatory changes and provide updates to colleagues and clients.
• Represent clients’ interests with regulators across DIFC, ADGM and QFC as appropriate.
• Manage client relationships, time records, billing support and service delivery.
• Support the Head & Director of Regulatory Services on DFSA, FSRA and QFCRA engagements.
