Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide and coordinate patient care across hospital settings. The post holder will educate patients and families, monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals.

The role requires life support certification (BLS/ACLS as applicable), strong English communication, and a willingness to work across departments to ensure safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing license to practice in the relevant regulatory authority.
• Maintain professional licensure and re-licensure as required.
• BLS certification is essential, ACLS/other advanced life support where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Assess patient needs and implement and monitor medical plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Record vital signs and monitor for abnormalities, ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects; provide wound care and assist in procedures as needed.
• Support safe patient admission, transfer and discharge processes and participate in ICU procedures as required.
