Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a skilled Testing & Commissioning Engineer to coordinate, test and commission building systems, ensuring safe operations and on-time delivery. You will witness final tests, compile handover documentation, and train clients on integrated systems at the project site.

The role requires a 3–5 year track record in a similar capacity, with a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering and strong coordination skills in BMS/EMS and related controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, test and commission systems and provide guidance on procedures and documentation.
• Perform testing and commissioning in line with site requirements.
• Monitor progress, record test results, witness final testing and prepare handover documents.
• Ensure safe testing and commissioning to meet performance, schedule and specs.
• Train clients on systems at project site for handover and closure.
• Maintain accurate project records and monitor equipment performance; notify engineers of recurring issues.
• Ensure uninterrupted system operation and on-time project completion.
• Log errors and resolutions to prevent bottlenecks.
• Coordinate materials to support testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on focus with direct impact on project outcomes.

Job description

• Coordinating, testing, and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.

• Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site requirements.

• Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site tests and handover.

• Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary system/plant performance in the project program, the requirements and specifications.

• Conducting client training on the systems at the project location for project handover and closure.

• Maintain accurate project records and monitor equipment performance, notifying engineers of recurring issues.
