Job summary

One&Only The Palm is seeking a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join our dining service team in Dubai. You will support the service team, prepare the restaurant for service and assist with taking and delivering orders.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel or restaurant, basic F&B knowledge, and strong presentation with excellent English. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year experience in a quality hotel, resort or restaurant.
• Basic food and beverage knowledge; willingness to learn.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal skills and ability to engage politely with a diverse range of guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests on arrival.
• Prepare mise-en-place before service.
• Serve food and beverages with hospitality.
• Maintain restaurant setup and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
• Report breakages or equipment issues.
• Attend team briefings and required training sessions.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork.
