Job summary

One&Only The Palm, Dubai, part of Kerzner International, invites applications for a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team. You will support service, prepare mise-en-place, take and deliver orders, clear and reset tables, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant, strong English communication, and a willingness to learn and grow within a luxury resort

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
• Basic food and beverage knowledge is required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the team.
• Strong personal presentation and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage politely with a diverse range of guests.
• Good communication in English; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Assist in serving food and beverages with hospitality.
• Prepare mise-en-place before service.
• Assist in taking and delivering orders; clear and reset tables.
• Maintain restaurant setup, cleanliness and equipment in line with resort standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth dining experiences.
• Report issues and participate in team briefings and training.
