Job summary

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan is seeking passionate kitchen professionals to join our culinary team in Abu Dhabi. You will support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I, prepare mis-en-place, and help maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene in a dynamic hotel kitchen.

Fluent English communication is essential, along with a professional chef training background and experience in a quality establishment.

Qualifications

• Professional chef training and previous experience in a quality establishment.
• Ability to communicate in English and proven track record in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operations.
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors.
• Keep work area hygienic according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in his section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production in various kitchen sections.
• Follow instructions from Superiors to complete tasks.
• Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors
• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
• Control food stock and food cost in his section
• Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites
• Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should have a professional chefs training course and previous experience in a quality establishment with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate in English and a proven track of food preparation, preservation knowledge is an essential.
