Job summary

Kitopi in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Commis Chef (Mexican Cuisine) to join our kitchen team. You will assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces while supporting the Chef de Partie in daily operations.

You should have experience or strong interest in Mexican cooking, knowledge of Mexican ingredients, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is a plus.

• Previous experience in Mexican cuisine is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salsas, and sauces.
• Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure food preparation meets quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety & hygiene guidelines.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage (FIFO).
• Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) as directed.

Key Responsibilities
