Job summary

Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi is seeking flexible kitchen staff to support food preparation and service across outlets. The role requires maintaining high hygiene and food-safety standards and collaborating with teams for quality culinary offerings.

You will assist with mise en place, support during events and ensure cleanliness of workspaces while following safety rules and brand guidelines. A hospitality mindset and willingness to train are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen environments.
• Ability to operate mise en place for multiple outlets.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the preparation & service of food, prepare mise en place for the outlets as required.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
• Maintain food safety & protection in working areas with proper dating and storage.
• Take responsibility for hotel property and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training to improve skills and service levels.
• Maintain adherence to checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Assist at events, banquets and other functions as required.
• Adhere to personal hygiene, grooming standards, fire safety, and health & safety rules.

• To assist in the preparation & service of food, prepare mise en place for the outlets as required.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests. Continually look to recommend improvements and additions to the Anantara presentation guidelines.
• To keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
• Maintain food safety & protection. All food in working areas should follow food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, rotation, etc. Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Taking responsibility for looking after all hotel property and facilities.
• Participating in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels.
• Maintaining and oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Assisting at events, banquets and other functions as required
• Adhering to all personal hygiene and grooming standards, fire safety rules and health & safety rules.
