Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking a Commis 2 level cook in Dubai to support daily kitchen operations and assist senior chefs. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain plating quality, and uphold food safety standards in a busy hotel or restaurant environment.

The role requires 3–4 years of kitchen experience, a culinary diploma or short course, and the ability to work flexible shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of working experience in a kitchen role.
• Minimum 18 months of experience as a Commis 2.
• Culinary diploma or completion of a short culinary course.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overnights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of an assigned kitchen area to meet service standards and guest expectations.
• Assist the Chef de Partie or Sous-Chef in culinary operations and food production.

• Use kitchen equipment and knives skillfully following safe procedures.
