The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the commercial property market. As a Commercial/leasing agent you will be responsible for developing commercial agency business instructions, facilitating property transactions, fostering client relationships, and maximising opportunities within the Knight Frank service line offering.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of Knight Frank's business and the office leasing market.
- Win and deliver leasing instructions in line with agreed targets and guidelines.
- Generate new business through networking, relationship building, and market activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, occupiers, and key market contacts.
- Develop and maintain leasing strategies for existing and future office developments.
- Advise clients on leasing strategies, market positioning, occupancy absorption, and commercial leasing terms.
- Prepare, negotiate, and agree Heads of Terms.
- Oversee property marketing activity, including property listing presentations, tours, videos, and leasing collateral.
- Conduct market, occupier, and competitor research and present findings professionally.
- Report regularly to landlords on activity, market feedback, and transaction progress.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities across the regional and global business.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all leasing and administrative processes are managed efficiently.
- Manage your workload effectively and support the wider team where required.
- Build and maintain client trust, confidentiality, and Knight Frank's professional reputation at all times.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Leasing Executive and have a track record of completing lease renewals, new lettings and lease disposals with an existing client network of office occupiers, law firms, and accountancy and technology professional services.
- Experience working with both tenant/occupiers and landlords.
- Sound understanding of the office market, current rents, trends, and incentives.
- Solid understanding of the local upcoming office supply, existing vacancies and tenants who have active requirements.
- International experience is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
- The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (KF Internal Systems).
- Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
- Certifications and Licenses: MRICS or on APC pathway preferable.
- Software: Microsoft Office programs to a proficient level.
- Language skills: Fluency in English. Fluency in Arabic or other languages advantageous.
- Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
