BAYARA in Dubai seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead commercial finance activities in the region. The role covers budgeting, P&L analysis, forecasting, and business partnering with Sales & Marketing across Consumer Goods channels.

The candidate must be CIMA/CPA/CA qualified with 5–6 years in blue‑chip food/ manufacturing/ FMCG, plus 2–3 years in Food processing. ERP experience with Dynamics 365 or Oracle Fusion and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Key Accountabilities

• Budgets and Plans: Contribute to the preparation of the Commercial section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that business units understand costs and revenues.
• Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures: Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and instructions to ensure controlled workflow.
• Day-to-day Operations:
• Provide financial insight to Sales and Marketing teams.
• Business partnering with sales counterpart focusing on Consumer Goods, Shop in Shop, Food service, Retail, and E-commerce channels.
• Evaluate Customer P&L and Promotions.
• Support monthly financial closing.
• Prepare and analyze value chain for New Product Development (NPD), Extended Product Development (EPD), or promotions.
• Analyze sales and margins (volume, price, mix) vs. Budget, Forecast, and previous year.
• Aid with modeling and scenario testing for new products and business opportunities.
• Work closely with Sales Team to support sales planning and analysis.
• Establish and streamline policies and procedures, supporting best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications.
• Work with Trade Marketing team for ROI analysis of promotions (pre-approval and post-analysis).
• Act as a bridge between Demand Planning and Sales teams to improve sales forecast accuracy.
• Work with marketing to implement price increases in system and conduct proactive margin analysis.
• Inform sales team of margin impacts due to Weighted Average Cost (WAC) fluctuations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system, process, and practice improvements aligned with international best practices.
• Reporting: Prepare insightful reports and financial analysis supporting commercial decision-making.

Experience

• Experience running and developing ERP and financial IT systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Oracle Fusion.
• Experience in Emerging Markets (Middle East and Asia) with management responsibilities across various geographies.
• Well-rounded finance professional with at least 5-6 years of experience developed with blue-chip companies in food processing, manufacturing, or FMCG/Retail.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Food processing, Manufacturing, or FMCG.
