Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course is required.
• Good culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to communicate well in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily mise-en-place and food production in main kitchen or satellites.
• Coordinate daily tasks with Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
• Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparations.
• Lead subordinates in daily food preparation and supervise buffets and events.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
• Guide and train staff to maintain motivation and economical working environment.
