Jotun UAE is seeking a seasoned Coating Advisor to join the Technical Service team in Dubai. You will provide expert technical advice on paint application and surface preparation, perform on-site inspections, and ensure coatings meet specifications and contract requirements.

The role requires 6+ years in paints and coatings, NACE/FROSIO Level 3, and English fluency. Travel may be required; UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience in paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore and infrastructure projects.
• Preferably with experience in PFP or Intumescent coatings.
• NACE II or FROSIO Level 3 certification.
• Fluent in English - both verbal and written.
• Marine projects and associated reporting experience is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license preferable.
• Willingness to travel abroad based on project needs.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant field.

Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Coating Advisor in our Technical Service team, you will provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer's satisfaction. This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Technical Service Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Advising customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application - Coating inspections and advisory.
• Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Preparing technical inspection reports and project documentation.
• Troubleshooting coating-related challenges and recommending practical solutions.
• Supporting sales colleagues with technical expertise before, during and after project execution.
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with Jotun's HSE standards and procedures.
