Job summary

Jotun in Dubai seeks a skilled Coating Advisor to join our Technical Service team. You will provide on-site technical advice to customers, perform surface-prep guidance, and conduct coating inspections to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction.

Based in Dubai, you will monitor projects, prepare inspection reports, and troubleshoot coating challenges while supporting sales with technical expertise. Travel may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience within paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore, and infrastructure projects.
• NACE Level II or FROSIO Level 3 certifications.
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferable).
• Availability to travel abroad based on project needs.

As Coating Advisor in our Technical Service team you will provide professional technical advice to our customers by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer s satisfaction This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Technical Service Team Leader

Responsibilities

Advising customers contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint applicationCoating inspections and advisory Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements Preparing technical inspection reports and project documentation Troubleshooting coating-related challenges and recommending practical solutions Supporting sales colleagues with technical expertise before during and after project execution Maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with Jotun s HSE standards and procedures

Qualifications:

Experience within paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore, and infrastructure projects. Preferably with experience in PFP or Intumescent coatings.NACE level II or FROSIO Level 3.Fluency in English - both verbal and written.Marine projects and associated reporting experience is an advantage.Valid driving license (UAE preferable)Availability to travel abroad based on project needs.Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant field.
