Job summary

Jotun U.A.E. Ltd. (LLC) is seeking a Coating Advisor in our Technical Service team in Dubai.

You will provide expert technical guidance to customers, perform on-site inspections, and ensure coating specifications are met and projects align with contracts. The role requires 6+ years in paints and coatings, NACE II or FROSIO III, fluent English, travel ability, and a UAE driving license. You will support sales with technical expertise and help maintain HSE standards while building strong customer

Qualifications

• Experience in paints, coatings, corrosion protection, offshore and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with PFP or Intumescent coatings is preferred.
• NACE II or FROSIO III certification is required.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Travel availability, UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Coating Advisor in our Technical Service team, you will provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction. This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Technical Service Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advising customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application
• Coating inspections and advisory
• Monitoring projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements
• Preparing technical inspection reports and project documentation
• Troubleshooting coating-related challenges and recommending practical solutions
• Supporting sales colleagues with technical expertise before, during and after project execution
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with Jotun's HSE standards and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience within paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore, and infrastructure projects
• Preferably with experience in PFP or Intumescent coatings
• NACE level II or FROSIO Level 3
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written
• Marine projects and associated reporting experience is an advantage
• Valid driving license (UAE preferable)
• Availability to travel abroad based on project needs
• Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant field
