Job summary

Sobha Furniture is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to operate HOMAG, Biesse and similar CNC woodworking machines. You will interpret drawings, select tooling, and set up machines to produce high-quality furniture components. You will inspect dimensions and tolerances, manage MDF, plywood and solid wood, and ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Operate CNC woodworking machines to route, drill, bore, mill, groove and profile furniture components.
• Interpret technical drawings and cut lists to ensure machining accuracy.
• Set up machines, select tooling and adjust parameters for quality and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks with measuring tools to verify dimensions and positions.
• Handle MDF, plywood, particle board, melamine, veneers and solid wood without damage.

Responsibilities

• Operate HOMAG, Biesse and similar CNC machines.
• Interpret drawings and CNC programs for accurate production.
• Set up tooling and adjust machine parameters for quality.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify machining accuracy.
• Manage materials (MDF, plywood, boards) and minimize waste.
• Meet production targets while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
