Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu Dhabi is seeking a CNC Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating CNC machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring safety and quality in every part produced.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of CNC experience, familiarity with G-code, and a solid grasp of basic machining concepts. You may work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC machines such as lathes or mills.
• Familiarity with G-code programming language.
• Strong understanding of basic machining concepts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Set up controls and adjust machine settings as required for each job.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines such as oiling or greasing components.
• Install cutting tools into holders as required for various jobs using wrenches or other hand tools.
• Monitor machine output to ensure accuracy according to specifications.
• Measure finished work pieces with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial gauges etc., in order to check conformance of machined parts to specifications.
