Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to run multi-axis CNC machines, interpret drawings, and ensure high-precision parts meet quality standards. You will prepare stock, fixture parts, perform inspections, and collaborate with engineers to optimize processing.

Responsibilities include machine setup, preventive maintenance, waste monitoring, and maintaining a safe, clean workshop while supporting production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School or Diploma required.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and mill-turn centers.
• Familiarity with prototyping or low-volume production workflows.
• Strong English language and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative to perform cleaning and support activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and prepare stock materials, fixturing, and quality checks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure parts meet drawings and standards.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance per schedule.
• Set up equipment, adjust tools, and understand each CNC machine well.
• Ensure output quality and provide feedback to improve processes.
• Operate hand tools and workshop machines safely to support production.
• Track material usage and report on waste and usage.
• Communicate issues to engineers and supervisors for improvements.
• Attend cleaning duties as required and keep work area tidy.
• Identify maintenance tasks and guide others to stay on task.
• Identify health and safety risks and communicate them.
