Job summary

Balflex in Dubai seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to operate, set up, program, and troubleshoot Siemens and Hitachi PLC controlled machines. You will read engineering drawings and ensure high-quality production.

The role involves maintaining safety, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and supervisors to improve processes. Shift work and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, or CNC Operator
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling selection, and machine setup

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines according to engineering drawings and production requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and work instructions
• Set machine parameters, offsets, tooling, speeds and feeds for accurate machining
• Work with Siemens and Hitachi PLC systems, including basic operation, fault identification, and troubleshooting
• Perform CNC programming, editing and adjustments as required
• Inspect finished components with vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges
• Identify defects and take corrective action to ensure quality and efficiency
• Carry out routine machine maintenance, tool changes, lubrication and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Maintain production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment following health and safety procedures
• Record production data, inspection results and maintenance activities accurately
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve machining processes and productivity
