Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island and Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island are seeking a Cluster Commercial Director to lead the integrated commercial strategy across two five-star properties in the UAE. This role commands responsibility for Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, Digital and Distribution, delivering cohesive leadership and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive commercial experience in hospitality, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience in multi-property or cluster commercial leadership.
• Strong background in upper-upscale, lifestyle or resort hospitality.
• Solid knowledge of the UAE and GCC hospitality markets.
• Extensive expertise in Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Digital and Distribution.
• Proven experience across leisure, wholesale, corporate, groups and MICE segments.
• Experience in hotel pre-opening, reopening or repositioning would be a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to translate commercial strategies into measurable results.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, structured and hands-on leadership approach with strong commercial judgement and execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated commercial strategy for both resorts, driving revenue growth, profitability and market share.
• Lead and inspire the Sales, Revenue, Reservations, Marketing and Digital teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance.
• Oversee revenue management, pricing, forecasting and distribution strategies to optimize commercial performance.
• Strengthen existing business relationships while identifying new markets, strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities across leisure, corporate, groups and MICE segments.
• Drive commercial opportunities across F&B, recreation, wellness, entertainment and lifestyle experiences.
• Lead the commercial preparation for Pullon's adults-only reopening, including market positioning, business development and demand generation.
• Oversee digital marketing, eCommerce and distribution strategies to maximize visibility, conversion and direct bookings.
• Build strong relationships with owners, regional commercial teams, destination partners and key industry stakeholders.

An Exciting Commercial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and results-driven Cluster Commercial Director to lead the integrated commercial strategy of two distinctive five-star resorts, Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island and Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the commercial direction of both properties, driving sustainable revenue growth and market share while playing a key role in the reopening and repositioning of Pullman as an adults-only lifestyle destination.

Going beyond a traditional Director of Sales & Marketing role, this position provides leadership across Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Groups, MICE, Meetings & Events and F&B Sales, bringing all commercial functions together under one cohesive strategy.

What You Will Be Doing
