Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch seeks a cybersecurity professional with security assurance and compliance experience to support UAE regional initiatives. You will collaborate with customers and regulators to demonstrate AWS security controls, explain control implementations, and drive improvements across multiple teams.

The role requires strong IT audit background, knowledge of regulated industries, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline, or equivalent technology experience.
• 5+ years of IT audits/assessments of highly technical cloud environments.
• 5+ years in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, energy, telecommunications).
• Business-level English and Arabic (verbal) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into control environments to articulate compliance implications for customers and internal/external audits.
• Communicate regulated compliance requirements and how control activities meet global obligations.
• Liaise with customers, regulators and auditors to apply security/compliance concepts and improve programs.
• Implement continuous improvements to security program management processes and share best practices.
