Job summary

Anterior is seeking a clinical design lead to own deployments from discovery through go-live, translating policies and nurse workflows into engineering requirements. You will map undocumented workflows by observing health plan staff and dive into utilization management and regulatory requirements, delivering proofs of concept and guiding clinical leaders toward optimal AI-enabled solutions.

• Clinical background in nursing or medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Own the clinical design of deployments from workflow discovery through configuration, testing, and go-live
• Translate medical policies, guideline sets, and nurse workflows into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering
• Map undocumented clinical workflows by observing and interviewing health plan staff
• Deep dive into utilization management, prior authorization, and regulatory requirements
• Deliver fast proofs of concept by configuring and demonstrating the platform's clinical value
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders to guide them toward optimal solutions

Requirements

• Clinical background as an RN, BSN, NP, PA, or MD
• Experience working inside a health plan or delegated entity
• Deep understanding of utilization management, intake, eligibility, and medical review processes
• Strong ability to create intuitive workflow maps and clear written documentation
• Experience building training materials or SOPs
• High comfort level with customer-facing roles and relationship building
• Genuine interest in the application and limitations of AI in clinical judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of risk adjustment, HEDIS, care management, or appeals
• Experience with delegated entities and various lines of business
