Job summary

Metabolic, a pioneering healthcare facility in Dubai, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at GluCare Integrated Diabetes. The role ensures hygiene, organization, and safety in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, waste disposal, and assisting in room setup for procedures while supporting infection control programs and a professional clinic atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste, including medical and non-medical waste, following safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the Clinic Operations Manager.
• Follow infection control procedures and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Assist in setting up rooms for procedures or patient consultations when required.
• Support orderly, tidy, and professional clinic environment.
• Understand and support hospital infection control programs.
