Role Description

The Clinical Auditor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Clinical Auditor will review and evaluate medical records, clinical documentation, and billing practices to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies and quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting audits of clinical processes, identifying risks and discrepancies, preparing detailed audit reports, and recommending corrective actions and process improvements. The role involves collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to clarify documentation, support training initiatives, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations. The Clinical Auditor will also contribute to accreditation readiness, support data analysis for performance indicators, and help maintain consistent, high-quality care across client facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical auditing and healthcare compliance skills, including experience reviewing medical records and documentation against regulatory and internal standards.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality management, accreditation frameworks (such as JCI, CAP, ISO), and performance measurement practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and the use of healthcare information systems or electronic medical records.
• Ability to interpret and apply regional healthcare regulations and guidelines, including those relevant to licensing and facility operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to identifying and mitigating clinical risks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and deliver constructive feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (such as Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, Health Information Management) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Previous experience in clinical auditing, quality assurance, or healthcare consultancy is highly desirable; experience in the UAE or GCC healthcare systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple audit assignments, and meet agreed timelines.
