Job summary

Stantec is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee projects related to Sewage & Stormwater, Flood Alleviation, and Wastewater Networks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sewage work projects, a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, and strong communication skills in English. Responsibilities include project coordination, site inspections, and managing client relationships while aligning with Stantec's core values and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in miscellaneous Sewage work projects and supervision of infrastructure works.
• Experience with survey work using modern instruments and keeping site measurement records.
• Experience identifying non-conforming works, generating reports, corrective actions and coordinating responses.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
• Preparing inspection reports and site records.
• Performing civil and structural tests.
• Inspecting all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Identifying non-conforming works and generating reports.
• Collaborating with team members as part of a team.
• Conducting technical feasibility studies and site investigations.
