Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking a qualified Civil QC Inspector to perform inspections and quality control of civil works across construction projects in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, international standards and HSE requirements.

Inspect activities include concrete, rebar, formwork and structural steel, with emphasis on NCRs and RFI logs. Candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in

Qualifications

• Strong communication, documentation and analytical abilities.
• Familiar with civil construction QA practices and standards.
• Experience with ITPs, NCRs and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil works (concrete, rebar, formwork, backfilling, asphalt, structural steel) for compliance with project specs.
• Monitor construction activities against drawings, ITPs and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS/EN).
• Review material certificates, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Conduct inspections for excavation, foundations, slabs, and structural elements.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and RFI logs.
• Coordinate with site teams and third parties to resolve quality issues.
• Report non-conformities and track corrective actions.
• Ensure HSE compliance during inspections.
