Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) seeks a qualified Civil QC Inspector to perform inspections and quality control of civil works across construction projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, international standards (ACI, ASTM BS/EN), and HSE requirements, reviewing non-conformities and coordinating with project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering diploma/degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with oil & gas

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil quality inspection.
• Familiar with international codes and standards (ACI ASTM BS ISO).
• Approval from any authority will be added as an advantage.
• Experience with oil & gas infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred.
• Strong communication documentation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil works (concrete rebar formwork backfilling asphalt structural steel) for compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor construction activities against approved drawings ITPs and standards (ASTM ACI BS/EN).
• Review material certificates test reports and quality documentation.
• Conduct inspections for excavation foundations slabs and structural elements.
• Prepare inspection reports NCRs and RFI logs.
• Coordinate with site teams and third parties to resolve quality issues.
• Report non-conformities and track corrective actions.
• Ensure HSE compliance during inspections.

Role Overview:

Orbit ISS are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Civil QC Inspector to perform inspections and quality control of civil works across construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with project specifications international standards (ASTM ACI BS/EN) and HSE requirements. The Civil QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting activities such as concrete rebar formwork backfilling and structural steel reviewing quality documentation identifying non-conformities and coordinating with project teams to ensure high standards are maintained throughout execution.
