Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is essential for understanding technical specs.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction QA/QC experience preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification demonstrates strong QA management understanding.
• Experience in high-rise or infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and approved quality procedures.
• Review drawings, specs, method statements, and material submittals to identify quality requirements.
• Inspect civil works: excavation, backfilling, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, waterproofing, masonry, finishing.
• Verify incoming materials against submittals and maintain material inspection records.
• Prepare and submit work inspection requests and material inspection requests, coordinating inspections with consultants and clients.
• Witness and coordinate laboratory and field testing (concrete slump, compressive strength, soil compaction, etc.).
• Identify nonconforming work, issue NCRs, verify corrective actions before closure.
• Monitor subcontractors’ workmanship and compliance with approved methods.
• Verify measuring/testing equipment has valid calibration records.
• Maintain inspection reports, test results, checklists, material certificates, and quality tracking registers.
• Support quality audits and prepare periodic quality performance reports.
• Coordinate snagging, final inspections, and prepare quality docs for project handover.
