Civil QA/QC Engineer - Interior Projects

Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer to implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for interior civil works in UAE projects.

You will review specifications, prepare ITPs, issue NCRs, and coordinate with site teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other international standards. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential. Experience with handover and quality reporting is preferred. Candidates should be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in interior civil construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC practices and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or international standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for all Civil works.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure site activities meet quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and checklists.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and verify corrective actions.
• Liaise with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and consultants on quality matters.
• Monitor material deliveries and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct pre-handover snagging and prepare final quality documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, quality reports and documentation.
• Participate in audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures related to quality activities.
